Inspiration &Design concept

Patong is a name of the famous beach of Phuket island, the world famous tourist spot where sun bathing makes a scene everywhere.

Inspired by cut section of peanut’s shell, Patong sun lounger was developed into an outdoor day bed where sun bather can enjoy a hide away moment on a soft cushion all day long.



Production & Technology

Patong is created to be used outdoor. Therefore, the structure is made from a powder-coated metal to resist with the strong sun and rain. Handicraft wicker work of recyclable polyethylene rattan is covered through out the whole chair structure to express Asian’s artistic accent. The soft cushion was made from Sunbrella fabric and Dryfast foam to resist with the strong sun and heavy rain.
