Inspiration &Design concept

Lying underneath Bougainvillea’s vine stack, then look up through the overlapped space of its branches and leaves silhouettes. This is where imageries of an organic engineering eased up by constructing a chair’s seat with the interweaving construction of the vines branches.

The intermingling branches of such vine can hold up its massive structure even when it grows bigger. The more it grows the stronger it holds up weight. Such relationship between weight and the intermingled structure has created a construction of Bougainvillea chair whereby sitter can relax just like lying underneath the vine stack.
